Many " Failures " have been around the last 2000 years, and not many people will ever strive to be a Failure - but then who ever wanted to be a Biggest Loser ?

* This person was dismissed from Drama School, as was told by her instructor " She's too shy to put her best foot forard " - This person's name - Lucille Ball - A Failure ?

* This group was turned by Decca Recording Studio who said " We don't like their sound and guitar music is on its way out!"  This group's name - The Beatles - A Failure ?

* This man was a failed soldier, a failed real estate agent, a failed farmer who ended up going to work for his dad at age 38 as a Handy Man. This man's name - Ulyssis S. Grant - A Failure ?

* This man was cut from his High School Basketball team. He later went home locked himself in his bedroom and cried..... This man's name - Michael Jordan - A Failure ?

* This man had a teacher who told him he was too stupid to succeed and should go home with his pleasant personality.   This man's name - Thomas Edison - A Failure ?

* This man was fired from a newspaper because he lacked imagination and original ideas.   This man's name - Walt Disney - A Failure ?

* This man had his fiance' die on him, he failed in business twice, had a nervous breakdown and was defeated in 8 elections.  This man's name - Abraham Lincoln - A Failure ?

* This man wrote a script to a movie, told the movie studio that he wanted to play the lead actor. The Studio turned him down ( and several others also turned him down ) because he was an unknown. He ended up selling his dog to help get financing for the movie. This man's name - Sylvester Stallone - A Failure ?

If you've never failed - then you've never tried!

When I passed my Real Estate exam in 2000 - the market was flooded with Licensed Realtors. Everyone wanted to sell Real Estate because the market was hot. You could put a house on the market and in about 2 weeks you had a full price offer on it. The number of Licensed Realtors has dropped and continues to drop monthly as the market makes a different turn and different shifts. Where are those Realtors now ?

Then I started thinking about everything that has happened since 2000 - 9-11 attacks in New York, Katrina and recently the collapse of the Real Estate market. So my question is WHERE ARE THEY NOW ? Where are the people who were in the news ?

Steven Segal - 7th Degree Black Belt, movie star is now working in Jefferson Parish ( Louisiana ) for the Sherriff department with his own show on A&E.

Bart Ward - Robin from the TV Show - Batman and Robin - Runs a charity with his wife called Gentle Giants Rescue and Adoptions, Inc. that rescues and cares for abandoned Great Dane dogs.

Charlene Tilton - played Lucy Ewing - TV Show ' Dallas ' - Tilton continues to appear on television, most recently on the WE Channel's show, You're Wearing That?, which aired on August 26.

So as you consider whether you should stick it out in Real Estate or move on to a new career - keep in mind that someday someone might be posting a blog post about you wondering " Where are they now ? "
